Maureen (Mo) Hagan is one of the Top 20 Most Influential Women of 2014, a global ambassador on the benefits of exercise and living well. Maureen is the Vice President of Program Innovation and Fitness Development at GoodLife Fitness, the largest fitness company in Canada and fourth largest in the world. She holds a similar position with Canadian Fitness Professionals (canfitpro)—the largest fitness education organization in Canada. Mo, as she is known in the fitness industry, is canfitpro, American Council on Exercise as well as Les Mills certified trainer. She is a an international award-winning fitness instructor and program director with more than 30 years of experience, Mo is also a licensed physiotherapist (BSc PT), a physical health educator (BA PE), a sponsored Reebok fitness athlete and a popular motivational speaker, fitness columnist and freelance writer. She has been a regular contributor to the Huffington Post this past year, and the author of a number of journal articles, industry and consumer books. In 2014, the Maureen Hagan Fit For Life” award was created to recognize the effort and determination of a student at her alma mater, T. A. Blakelock High School in Oakville.
